Try this easy cookie cutter trick: Hollow out a pumpkin like you usually would (get some tips on this here).   Get your cookie cutters, a small plank or block of wood, and a hammer. Turn the pumpkin on its side. Place the cookie cutter where you want it on the face of the pumpkin, then lay the wood over the top of it. Hold in place, and whack the wood with the hammer until the cookie cutter goes through the pumpkin (it shouldn’t take too long). Pull out the cutter and the pumpkin shape it cut out, and repeat with whatever cookie cutters you’d like until you get the pattern you want!
